Instant Ragi Dosa | Ragi Utappam | Healthy Dosa


This instant ragi dosa is an healthier and simpler breakfast / dinner recipe...and the good part is ...it can be prepared in 10 mins :-)

















Ingredients for ragi dosa:

Ragi flour  - 1 cup
sooji/semolina - 1/2 cup
yogurt/curd 1 cup
water - 1 cup
salt - 1 tbsp (adjust to your taste)
green chillies (chopped) - 2/3 according to your taste
half small onion  finely chopped
baking soda - pinch (optional)
jeera/cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
coriander leaves &  curry leaves - for garnish

Procedure:
  1. In a bowl mix all the above ingredients and whisk til everything is mixed properly
  2. Let it sit for 10 -15 mins
  3. heat a tawa/dosa pan and once the pan is heated pour 1-2 laddels of batter onto the tawa
  4. spread the batter evenly slowly and gently till u met the right thickness
  5. pour little oil around the edges of the dosa.
  6. let it cook well on one side and once it is done...flip it to cook on the other side.

Notes:
  1. Make sure that the tawa/griddle is not too hold or not too cold otherwise dosas does not come well
  2. If the first dosa does not come out well...its ok..its very common :-)
  3. If u want a little crispy dosa..add little rice flour and adjust the batter consistency accordingly
