Instant Pot Pineapple kesari | Instant Pot Indian recipies

Learn how to cook Pineapple kesari in an Instant Pot. Very simple to make and tasty too...Perfect for your sweet cravings in summer because you are including the tropical fruit pineapple in the recipe :-).





Pineapple Rava Kesari ( Instant Pot):

Ingredients:
Pineapple - 1/2 cup
sooji rava/semolina - 1 cup
sugar - 1.5 cup
water - 3 cups (boiling water)
pineapple essense - 3-4 drops
Nuts of ur choice - 1/4 cup
Raisins
cardamom powder - powdered from 2-3 pods
pinch of salt
Yellow food color - optional

Procedure:

1.  Turn on saute mode , normal pressure.
2.  Add 2 tbsp of ghee. When the ghee is hot, add nuts of ur choice and fry till golden brown, add raisins and fry till they r puffed up.
3. Add sooji rava and fry till nice aroma comes out of it.
4. Take out the fried sooji mixture out of IP and keep aside.
5. Add 1 more tbsp of ghee and add pineapple chunks to the ghee.Fry till it becomes soft.
6. Now add the sooji/semolina mixture back to the instant pot.
7. Add sugar, cardamom powder and mix well.
8. Now add 3 cups of boiled water and food color ( mixed in little water).Also add pinch of salt and mix everything.
9. Close the lid of Instant Pot , vent on seal, manual 4 mins QPR (quick pressure release)
10. Open the lid, add some more ghee and serve hot.
